Quick & Easy Veggie Wraps

We are very busy couple and don't like to eat late so we are always looking for quick, easy and healty meals we can eat at home. Oh did I mention they need to have a lot of flavor...

I thought I would share with you one of our favorites!

Quick & Easy Veggie Wrap

-baby bella mushrooms
-red, orange, and yellow peppers ( or any kind you like)
-white onion (medium to large)
-corn ( we use can or grilled depending on the season)
-seasoned black beans
-diced tomatoes (I use red gold chipotle flavored)
-provolone cheese
-serrano pepper diced (optional but I like the heat)

chop, slice or dice your veggies however you like and sauté them up in a pan over medium heat in a splash of olive oil.  Heat up a flower tortilla or a spinach wrap add cheese and viola you have a fast, easy and healthy dinner… As long as you don’t add the tater tots (what can I say I love them)

Fall Letter Wreath

hello and welcome to my first attempt at blogging.

this was also my first attempt to make this wreath inspired by The Nest .  The cost for me to make this was right around $15.00.  It looked very similar to one at hobby lobby with a price tag of 150.00 so I think I did pretty well.

I started with a grapevine wreath size 14" and two sunflower picks.  I wanted to use real fall leaves (if you choose to be sure to bake them in the oven first) but I opted to use the pick full of leaves to save on time.  I tend to be a bit spontaneous when I get an idea.  I placed the sunflowers where I wanted them on the vine and hot glued them in place.  I then removed all the leaves from the pick and also placed them where I wanted them on the wreath.  I purchased the letter at Hobby Lobby for $3.49 as well as the paint to paint the letter.  Three coats later I was all set to hang up my wreath.  I used burlap to hand the letter, however after further review I think I will make some adjustments and post a new photo of the wreath.
