hello and welcome to my first attempt at blogging.
this was also my first attempt to make this wreath inspired by The Nest . The cost for me to make this was right around $15.00. It looked very similar to one at hobby lobby with a price tag of 150.00 so I think I did pretty well.
I started with a grapevine wreath size 14" and two sunflower picks. I wanted to use real fall leaves (if you choose to be sure to bake them in the oven first) but I opted to use the pick full of leaves to save on time. I tend to be a bit spontaneous when I get an idea. I placed the sunflowers where I wanted them on the vine and hot glued them in place. I then removed all the leaves from the pick and also placed them where I wanted them on the wreath. I purchased the letter at Hobby Lobby for $3.49 as well as the paint to paint the letter. Three coats later I was all set to hang up my wreath. I used burlap to hang the letter, however after further review I think I will make some adjustments and post a new photo of the wreath.
