Are you ready for Summer! It's cold here in the Midwest and I am looking forward to the upcoming camping season.
I made this fruit salad last year for one of our many (mini) vacations It was a huge hit especially for the hot summer weather. Cutting the watermlon was time consuming but as you can see it was worth the extra effort! I used the Star that was in my Pampered Chef cookie cutter kit but I am sure you can pick one up at any local crafts and bakery shop.
- Bllue Berries
- Raspberries
- Grapes (green and red)
- Black Berries
- Watermelon
Enjoy my summer fruit salad!
I was motivated to make these tasty strawberries after I saw this post Spoonful via Pinterest. I looked all over for the blue sugar but I guess it being so close to July 4th it was in high demand. I did not let my failed hunt derail my mission I decided to make my own by adding a litte food coloring at a time until I got the desired color... They were so good, I will be making them again, it's a new July 4th tradition
Be sure to see Spoonful for more detail!
